Functional Anatomy
Deep understanding of the musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems, and of the biomechanics of movement, so you can explain why each exercise works as it does.
Matwork Pilates
Master essential and intermediate mat repertoire with progressions and modifications. These exercises will be the baseline for your teaching across all apparatus.
Circuit Apparatus
Develop proficiency on all Pilates equipment, from spring settings to safety protocols, learning to adapt every exercise to the individual.
Interpersonal Skills
The skills you use to communicate, connect and build trust with your clients and colleagues, session after session.
Teaching Skills
Ability to safely adapt to client needs, regressing and progressing exercises, cueing with clarity and teaching every session with intention.

After You Qualify

Unlike traditional Pilates schools, our goal is to train instructors who can follow the Sentiré Pilates career path, with opportunities to progress within our company.
Direct Route to Employment
Successful graduates may have the opportunity to join Sentiré Pilates as instructors. Having trained within our Academy, you will already be familiar with our studio, equipment and teaching standards, creating a natural transition into your professional role.
£1,000 Studio Credit
We believe good instructors should experience Pilates from the client's perspective. That is why students receive 1,000 points, worth £1,000, for Reformer, Circuit, or Private mentoring sessions. Great teachers train what they teach, so your practice at Sentiré Pilates is on us.
Over 550 Hours
The programme runs to more than 550 hours of material and practice, ahead of most comprehensive courses on the market, and every hour of it is built around teaching real clients rather than passing an exam.
